Study of the Mechanisms that Regulate Mast Cell Activity: Implications in Pathology

Project description

We are seeking an excellent academic candidate to join our immunology research group, with the aim of applying for competitive Spanish and European predoctoral fellowships.

The project aims to investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms that regulate mast cell activity and their role in immune-mediated and inflammatory pathologies. Mast cells are central players in immunity, and understanding their regulation has direct implications for disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic strategies.

  • Excellent academic record, compatible with the requirements of Spanish fellowships (>8 in the 1-10 range).
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (or completion expected) in Immunology, Biomedicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Eligibility to enroll in a PhD program at a Spanish university.
  • Previous research experience (Master’s thesis, research internship) will be highly valued.
  • Strong motivation for an academic research career.
  • High level of English (written and spoken).

Spanish or nationality from european country, as required for Spanish fellowship applications.
