Offer Description

Support for research, care and maintenance of laboratory animals, execution of experiments in ageing and behavioural ecology, analysis and processing of behavioural data (e.g., AnimalTA, Toxtract, Ethovion), extraction and analysis of biological samples and DNA, determination of cellular damage biomarkers, statistical analyses, and preparation of reports and scientific articles

Specific Requirements

Item 01: Professional experience in universities. Minimum level of spoken and written English: B2 (punctuation: 30)

Item 02: Previous experience in research work in evolutionary and behavioural ecology and its communication at national and international conferences (punctuation: 20)

Item 03: Advanced knowledge of experimental data analysis in R, including mixed models (LMM and GLMM) and survival models (Cox) (punctuation: 15)

Item 04: Previous experience in the computerised recording and analysis of ethological data from acoustic and video recordings (AnimalTA, Ethovision). Previous verifiable experience in the analysis of ageing biomarkers (oxidative stress and/or telomeres) and animal and laboratory management (punctuation: 20)

Item 05: Personal interview. The personal interview will be conducted only with the 2 candidates who reach a minimum of 50 points in the total merit assessment (punctuation: 15)
