We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in polymer science and engineering. The ideal candidate is a hardcore polymer researcher—someone with deep expertise in polymer synthesis, characterization, and structure–property relationships, and with a passion for pushing the boundaries of polymer research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced research on polymer synthesis, modification, and characterization.
- Design and execute experiments related to polymer chemistry, nanocomposites, or functional polymers.
- Publish high-quality research papers in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences.
- Collaborate with team members and industry partners on interdisciplinary projects.
- Contribute to the mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
- Proven track record of research excellence, demonstrated by strong publication records.
- Expertise in at least one of the following areas:
* Polymer synthesis and reaction mechanisms
* Polymer physics and rheology
* Polymer nanocomposites or functional materials
* Characterization techniques (e.g., NMR, GPC, DSC, DMA, SAXS/WAXS, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with polymer processing or scale-up.
- Familiarity with advanced modeling or simulation tools for polymer systems.
- Background in industrial collaboration or technology transfer.
