For each parameter, the following will be considered:
(i) Solid experience in the isolation, cultivation, and molecular characterization of bacteria and/or fungi relevant to agricultural systems;
(ii) Proven experience in studying plant–microorganism interactions under abiotic stress conditions in agricultural crops;
(iii) Ability to design experiments and implement laboratory analysis of physiological and biochemical assays related to crop stress responses;
(iv) The scientific outputs over the past five years in the field of this call (namely, the demonstrated ability to write scientific articles as first author in Q1-ranked journals);
(v) Knowledge dissemination activities carried out over the past five years (including conference presentations, participation in organizing committees of scientific events, etc.).

B. Previous experience acquired – 40%
C. Motivation Letter – 10%

CC= A*50% + B*40% + C*10%
II. Interview with the three highest-ranked candidates:
An interview will be held with the three highest-ranked candidates, to be selected by the jury, in order to clarify aspects related to the candidate's curriculum and previous research experience, as well as their knowledge of spoken and written English.
In this case, the final classification (CF) after the interview will have the following weighting: 90% of the previous classification; 10% of the interview rating (E), with the following formula:
CF = CC*90% + E*10%
The candidate who has a foreign academic degree or diploma whose final classification is expressed on a different classification scale from the Portuguese one or does not have a classification, for evaluation purposes, must present a document proving the recognition of the foreign degree or diploma and the conversion of the classification for the Portuguese classification scale until the closing date of applications for the competition. If the documents attesting the degree submitted by the candidates do not present the final classification of the degree required in this notice with the respective grade converted to the Portuguese classification scale, the jury will consider, for evaluation purposes, that the candidate has the minimum classification (10 points) of a maximum of 20 points) required to obtain a degree in Portugal.
