Offer Description
The Laboratory of Applied Artificial Intelligence (2Ai), a R&D unit of the School of Technology (EST) of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), open a call for one (1) grant scholarship for students enrolled in a Master’s program, within the scope of the of the project “Fully Automatic Occluding Device Sizing for LAAC in 3D TEE ( AUTO-LAAC), code LCF/TR/CI25/56020040, CaixaImpulse Innovation 2025 , funded by the ‘”la Caixa” Foundation.
Scientific Areas: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar areas.
Project: Fully Automatic Occluding Device Sizing for LAAC in 3D TEE (AUTO-LAAC).

Specific Requirements
Admission Requirements:
- Candidates must have a bachelor degree1 in Electrical Engineering ,Electronic Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar areas.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a master's, integrated master's or enrolled in a non-academic course, namely advanced training courses or postgraduate courses, in accordance with the established legal regime in numbers 3 to 6 of article 4 of Decree-Law no. 74/2006, of March 24.
