About the programme

The Study of Professions is a multidisciplinary field of research with great theoretical and methodological diversity. This PhD programme focuses on both general and specific features of professions and their professional practice.

The programme recruits doctoral candidates from many different disciplines, such as sociology, philosophy, educational science, history, political science and economics.

PhD-courses

All candidates must complete 30 ECTS in PhD courses as part of the 180 ECTS required for the doctorate degree.

Master’s degree graduates that are not currently enrolled in a PhD-program are welcome to apply for admission in individual PhD-courses.
