Alfred George East Scholarship
For second-year or third-year students facing financial hardship. You will be enrolled in an undergraduate programme in a technical area such as nursing or design.

Eligibility restrictions: New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Full-time study only. Wellington campus only.

Alfred George East was a Wellington land and estate agent.

What you'll be studying

This is an undergraduate scholarship. You will be a second-year or third-year student enrolled in a qualification with substantial technical content such as (in order of priority):

• nursing
• industrial design
• all other design qualifications
• any other applicable qualification.

Students enrolled in qualifications with a focus on business, journalism or music will not be considered.

Eligibility criteria

You must:

• study on Wellington campus
• be studying full-time
• be entering the second or third year of your programme
• be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
• have completed credits as outlined in this award's regulations
• be studying in specific subject areas.
