Youi Student Grant

Updated: about 2 hours ago

At Youi, we don’t believe in doing things the same as everyone else does – not when it comes to insurance and not when it comes to ‘insuring’ that the next generation of students have the best opportunity to succeed.

With the Youi Student Grant (“the Grant”), we want to back a full-time student who is close to finishing their studies and who has different skill sets, perspectives, or experiences to enable them to add to the uniqueness of what we do.

Based on demonstrated skill within the Entry Task, the Grant will be offered to one person in 2025 and will be paid as a one-time payment of AUD$5,000 (‘Grant Amount’). There are eligibility, entry and general requirements as set in these Terms and Conditions.

Applications to the 2025 Youi Student Grant will open from 10:00am Monday 24 February 2025 and will close on 5:00pm AEST on 24 October 2025.

Employees of Youi, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and suppliers, (collectively, the Employees), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to apply for the Grant.

To showcase your skill, complete the Entry Task by answering the essay question below and make sure you include the discussion questions within your analysis.

Entry Task responses must be a maximum of 1,000 words, in Arial font size 11 with double line spacing and saved as a PDF document with the name of the applicant and the essay title included in the document name (‘Correct Format’).

Applications must be uploaded to the Youi careers site ‘2025 Youi Student Grant’ via the following link Apply - Youi Student Grant .

The Grant recipient will also be required to supply identification confirming name, date of birth and residential address as well as evidence supporting the above items.

The Grant recipient will be decided by a panel of Youi business leaders (“Youi Panel”) using the Judging Criteria below.
