Germanna is currently looking for someone to support the college’s strategic plan goal to rectify achievement gaps among student populations by providing academic and personal support that promotes success and a sense of belonging. The Single Stop platform was implemented as a part of the Germanna Cares Program, dedicated to the reduction and elimination of life basic needs barriers which often derail students from persisting and completing educational goals. The Germanna Cares Program and Single Stop support the VCCS strategic goal to “provide all students with a culture of care that responds to the needs of our student population and supports and inspires their educational and career success.”
The position will support Single Stop and SNAP 50/50 initiatives by assisting with the development and implementation of a Marketing and Communication Plan, collaborating with other college departments to identify and connect with students, and conduct case management follow-up with Single Stop participants.
