| Work Schedule | Hours will vary per workweek based on workload demands. Average hours are anticipated to be approximately 15 hours per week and will not exceed 29 hours in a workweek or 58 hours in a bi-weekly pay period. The work hours will fall within normal business hours which are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Selected candidate will work closely with immediate supervisor to determine weekly schedule. |

| Special Assignments | May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. |
| KSA's/Required Qualifications | Experience using computers and software applications for record-keeping, communication, and tracking purposes (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Experience performing basic clerical duties (e.g., filing, record keeping, preparing requisitions, etc.) in a fast-paced work environment. Experience providing customer service to diverse customers. Experience planning, organizing, and scheduling events and meetings. Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with various departments on campus and with industry partners. Ability to coordinate meetings with industry partners at least semi-annually. Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations, faculty and other internal and external customers served. Strong communication, documentation, organizational, scheduling, and record-keeping skills. Ability to plan and schedule events and meetings. Exceptional and professional customer services skills, working with external and/or internal customers. Ability to provide helpful, courteous, accessible, responsive, and knowledgeable service. Ability to coordinate outreach activities, speakers, high school tours, and high school outreach activities. Ability to track and document data such as participation numbers. |
| Additional Considerations | Knowledge of Commonwealth of Virginia purchasing requirements and procedures. Knowledge of basic principles of Agriculture to relay project objectives and impact to local stakeholders including industry leaders and local educational institutions. |
