Position Summary:
The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a research team working on advanced cooling systems for high density data centers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to participate in the project’s work and lead a team of graduate and undergraduate researchers performing the following major tasks:
  • Design experimental apparatus, systems, and instrumentation
  • Supervise and participate in the construction and/or assembly of experimental apparatus, systems, and instrumentation
  • Set up instrumentation with control software
  • Acquire data from apparatus and systems
  • Create simulation models and perform simulation of test apparatus and cooling devices and systems using commercial software
  • Participate in weekly meetings and help to prepare reports and presentations for project sponsor.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • PhD in Mechanical Engineering required.
    • Experience with hardware development and instrumentation required, as well as experience with software tools such as ANSYS Fluent, MATLAB, EES, and LabView.
