About Us
Located in the Centre for Gene Therapy and Regenerative Medicine at Guy’s Hospital (London, UK), the Sancho Lab focuses in studying molecular cues behind cell fate decisions in pancreas. Our main goal in the lab is to decipher the fundamental regulatory networks involved in pancreatic cell fate decisions using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and to apply this knowledge to new strategies in regenerative medicine for diabetes. We are seeking for a Research Technician to join the team and assist with daily tasks in the Sancho Lab.
About the role
We are seeking a Technician with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
Responsibilities include managing daily lab tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining organization, monitoring stocks, aliquoting, and assisting with experiments as needed.
The ideal candidate should have experience in cell culture, iPSC, molecular biology. Strong record-keeping, effective communication with lab members and management, organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards and work ethic are essential.
This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 13th February 2027. This position requires full-time on-site work.
