Research Associate in AI and Automation for Molecular Design (ALGeNeM)

We are seeking a Research Associate to work on ALGeNeM, a project developing learning systems that integrate generative molecular design with automated experimentation for drug discovery.

You will contribute to AI/ML methods (e.g., generative design and active learning), robust software and data infrastructure, and prospective demonstrations in collaboration with experimental partners.

The role will be based across the Materials Innovation Factory (MIF) and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Liverpool, with opportunities to work with external collaborators.

If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30.  Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
