Offer Description

The Meritt Research Group is looking to hire a Research Assistant for Spiritual and Religious Care.

This person, with a university degree (bachelor's or master's), will be responsible for the planning and execution of the research project on spiritual and religious care in the field of care for people with intellectual disabilities.

The main responsibilities of the selected candidate will be:

  • Responsible for planning and executing the research project on spiritual and religious care in the field of care for people with intellectual disabilities, carrying out data collection, analysis, and the preparation of reports and the study's main conclusions.
  • They will collaborate on preparing oral and written communications about the main research findings, and will promote the assessment and integration of spirituality, religiosity, or life philosophy as part of the comprehensive care for the person with an intellectual disability by the interdisciplinary team, and will participate in the research projects of the Spiritual and Religious Care Service (SAER).
