Offer Description

The INCLIVA Foundation is a Health Research Institute accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute and as such an Agent of the National Science and Technology System.
Although, it is part of the public sector of the Generalitat Valenciana, has legal personality of a private nature, and is governed by the private legal system and its specific legislation, without prejudice to the rules of public law that are applicable to it.

The International Projects Unit (UPI) of INCLIVA has the mission of strengthening the internationalization of health research carried out in the different areas of the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia, its health department, as well as various research groups from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia and the Carlos Simón Foundation. To this end, INCLIVA’s UPI supports research staff in their participation in European and international R&D&I funding programmes and provides comprehensive management of the awarded projects.

In accordance with the State Programme for Research and Experimental Development, State Subprogramme for Institutional Strengthening, Action: “Preparation and management of European projects and facilitation of the attraction of international talent" (GPE2025), 2025 Call (excerpt BOE 07.03.2025), a Research Technician (T3), Level 1. 17T (Project Manager) position is announced. The position is for carrying out the Project GPE2025-001667-P, funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033, under the supervision of Dra. Ana Ferrer.

Job resposibilities:

  • Development, updating, and improvement of internal procedures for disseminating opportunities, preparing proposals, and managing and reporting international projects.
  • Support in the preparation and review of European proposals, as well as in the management and financial reporting of projects within the European Projects Unit.
  • Management of EUROBOOST project activities and the required audits.
  • Organization and delivery of workshops and mentoring sessions for researchers on searching for and participating in international consortia, preparing European proposals, and managing/leading European projects.
  • Creation and dissemination of participation guides for European funding programmes such as Horizon Europe, IHI, and EU4Health.
  • Creation and implementation of a mentoring plan for researchers.
  • Creation of a comprehensive service centre to support international research staff.
  • Development and implementation of an attraction and integration plan for international researchers.

Skills/Qualifications

1.-Training merits 

1.1 Official Master’s Degree (of at least 60 ECTS credits or its equivalent in hours), related to the duties of the position: 10 points 

1.2 Own degrees and/or Master's degrees (of at least 60 ECTS credits or their equivalent in hours) related to the duties of the position: 7.5 points per degree

1.3 Training courses received oriented towards performing the functions of the position being applied for (European project management, cost reporting in European projects, advanced Excel, management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2 Agile, etc.)(Up to 15 points)

  • Courses of 100 or more hours: 5 points per course
  • Courses of 75 or more hours: 3 points per course
  • Courses of 50 or more hours: 2 points per course
  • Courses of 25 or more hours: 1 point per course
  • Courses of 15 or more hours: 0.5 points
  • Courses of less than 15 hours: 0.25 points per course

2.-Languages 
2.1-Knowledge of the English language: Level (B1: 2 points); (B2: 3 points); (C1: 4 points); (C2: 5 points) (Up to 5 points) 

3.-Merits related to professional experience and skills related to the job offer
3.1 Accredited work experience in health or biomedical research environments (1 point per year worked, up to maximum of 7.5 points. Periods of less than one year will be prorated by completed months)

3.2 Accredited work experience in international research projects (10 points per project with at least 1 year of activity, up to a maximum 20 points).

3.3 Accredited work experience in national research projects (1 point per project with at least 1 year of activity, up to a maximum of 5 points)

3.4 Accredited experience in international networks and forums related to research and talent (10 points per network/forum, up to a maximum of 20 points)

4.-Accredited disability certificate (equal to or higher than 33%)  (10 points)

5.-Being a victim of gender-based violence (10 points)

6.-Personal interview (up to 10 points)


Specific Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree according to current study plans (MECES 2. EQF6).
  • Possess the physical and mental capabilities and aptitudes necessary for the performance of the corresponding functions or tasks, which will beaccredited by the applicant through a responsible statement at the time of applying to the job offer.
  • Spanish nationality, a work permit, or any other nationality that allows access to employment in the public sector. If the selected person does nothave this and is selected, the contract will not be formalized until the corresponding documentation is in order. If this process cannot becompleted within the deadline established by the Evaluation Committee, the final candidate cannot be hired; in this case, the position will be leftvacant or the next person in order of preference will be hired if such an order has been established in the Resolution.
  • To be at least 16 years old and not exceed the maximum age for forced retirement or any other age that may be established by law.
  • Not be subject to any incompatibility that prevents the performance of duties under the General regime with an entity belonging to the publicsector. This requirement will be accredited by a responsible statement.
  • Not be disqualified by a final judgment from performing functions similar to those of the professional category or group to which access issought. In the case of nationals of other states, not be disqualified or in an equivalent situation in the same terms in their State that preventsaccess to public employment. This requirement will be accredited by a responsible statement.
  • In case of being a former employee of INCLIVA, not have been properly dismissed for disciplinary reasons.
  • In case of being a former employee of INCLIVA, have passed the trial period for the related position.
  • Candidates must necessarily meet each and every one of these minimum requirements, as otherwise they will be automatically excluded from the selection process
