Offer Description

- Arabidopsis and tomato infections with root fungi and response to abiotic stresses;  phenotypic evaluation.
- Data generation and curation, discussion and presentation (written and oral) in seminars.
- Active intellectual participation in projects of other members of the group.
- Clear and tidy annotation of the protocols, designs, data and analysis in the ELN indicated by the PI.
- Clearly label all material and include it regularly in the common stocks.
- Articles writing.

Skills/Qualifications

- Proven experience in plant targeted genetic modification of plants, evidenced by primary authored publication(s).
- Experience in vector construction. 
- Experience in the molecular and phenotypic characterization of transgenic plants.
- Experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation is highly desirable.
- Experience in Bioinformatic analyses.
- Writing articles and grants.
- Previous experience in Arabidopsis and/or crops. 
- Highly self-motivated individual.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Be able to work co-operatively within a team as well as independently.
