MORE – Mountains of Research Collaborative Laboratory – Association hereby discloses the following job offer under the Investimento RE-C05-i02 – Missão Interface N.º 01/C05- i02/2022 Contrato de Financiamento de Beneficiário Final Financiamento Base – Laboratório Colaborativo and other projects.

Activities to be performed and Functions: Research Technician 1) R&I Project management; 2)To carry out technical and scientific research activities regarding the management and valorization of endogenous resources and by-products underlying ongoing projects and services procurements in the ECO group; 3) Development of protypes or pilot’s tests for the validation of new solutions in relevant environment (including field trials); 4) Preparation of needed publications and reports; 5) Participation in meetings with project partners, and in MORE's external communication and dissemination actions associated with this project, at the national and international level.
Experience required: Applied Biology to the Agricultural sector and byproducts valorization, in the physicochemical and/or biochemical characterization of the innovative solutions to be deployed in the running projects. Development of protypes or pilot’s tests for the validation of new solutions in relevant environment. Experience in submission and management of R&D+I projects with companies. Experience in knowledge transfer and valorization actions.
Additional knowledge and professional experience: Previous experience in the application of different techniques to monitor the quality of the developed products and theirs applications; Relevant knowledge in the Olive and Dry nuts sector; Good command of the English and Portuguese language (written and spoken) relevant to good interpersonal relationships, communication and dissemination actions both in the contractor and in other partner and associated entities of the consortium and other interested parties; Autonomy/ability to travel within the country in a service vehicle (cat. B driver’s license) and other trips that are necessary for the good technical execution of the work

Contract duration: 6 Months.
Conditions: The person to be hired will be entitled to a fixed term employment contract (6 months) with monthly salary (TRM3) plus daily food allowance and personal accident insurance.
Gross monthly salary: 1807,00€
Expected start date of contract: January, 2026
