Offer Description

The position requires a Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields, research experience, and high ethical standards. Proficiency in Polish (for teaching) and good English are required. Additional assets include interest in research and teaching, MS Office, and statistical data analysis skills.

The competition may be entered by persons who meet the requirements provided for in Article. 113 of the Act of Law on Higher Education and Science from July 20, 2018 (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668)

Requirements for candidates:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field, enabling the performance of duties required for the position,

Experience in scientific research,

Exemplary ethical and professional conduct,

Excellent knowledge of the Polish language (conducting classes in Polish),

Good knowledge of the English language.

 

II. Additional criteria necessary for employment (listed in order of importance):

Scientific interests and aptitude for research and teaching activities.

Practical knowledge of the MS Office suite and statistical data analysis methods.

 

III. Main tasks of the position:

1. Participation in research activities and scientific projects conducted within the unit, focusing on thermal methods for processing biological materials and food preservation and enrichment.

2. Conducting teaching activities (exercises, laboratory classes, consultations) in the field of thermal engineering and related disciplines.

3. Preparing teaching materials, including instructions for exercises and laboratory sessions.

• consent to personal data processing,

• foreigners need to have the Polish language certificate issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language. 

   

Documents issued in a foreign language must be translated into Polish. Copies of the documents should be certified or submitted to the University of Life Sciences in Lublin together with the original documents available for inspection. The documents should be submitted to the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Production Engineering at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin,
