* Background of the recruitment and description of the project
We are seeking a candidate who will collaborate with Professor Noriyuki Iwamuro, Professor Hiroshi Yano, and Associate Professor Takanori Isobe to lead laboratory activities and conduct internationally recognized research under the framework of the Special Collaborative Research Project on Power Electronics with Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. The primary research focus will be on circuit and control technologies in power electronics utilizing next-generation power semiconductors such as SiC and GaN. In particular, the research will emphasize the design, control, and experimental validation of compact, high-efficiency, and low-noise power converters driven at ultra-high frequencies, taking into account the characteristics of the devices.

[Work content and job description]
In addition to research activities, the candidate will also be responsible for educational duties in the College of Engineering Sciences at the School of Science and Engineering, as well as in the Subprogram in Applied Physics, which is part of the Degree Program in Engineering Sciences within the Degree Program in Pure and Applied Sciences at the Graduate School of Science and Technology.

Annual salary:4 million yen - 7 million yen
Wages description:Salary and Employment Terms: Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and achievements, in accordance with university regulations. The annual salary will range from 4,000,000 JPY to 7,000,000 JPY.

Holidays :Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and the year-end/New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3).
