The Division of Biomedical Engineering Research at the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Bioengineering comprises researchers in the departments of Diagnostic & Therapeutic Systems Engineering, Precision Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Informatics, and Biomedical Devices and Instrumentation. While international and interdisciplinary collaboration, it promotes joint medical, dental, and engineering research and industry-academia collaboration through partnerships with the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, University Hospital, other departments in our university, and external research organizations such as collaborative research institutes and companies. This open call seeks an Associate Professor candidate, who is a principal investigator, to lead a next-generation research field and be enthusiastic to educate students within the Biomedical Engineering Research Division, particularly in the field of Biomedical Devices and Instrumentation. We seek researchers capable of vigorously advancing cutting-edge and original research within the field of biomedical devices and instrumentation and its related areas, demonstrating international initiative to lead the research field. Candidates must also be enthusiastic about engaging in interdisciplinary medical-dental-engineering research, industry-academia collaboration, and student education. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree.
