Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS) was founded on the philosophy that "Languages are the foundation to link the world in peace." Originating from a vocational school specializing in practical English education, the university has long been committed to cultivating globally minded professionals with strong intercultural competence and advanced communication skills.
In the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Japan University Rankings, KUIS was ranked 35th overall, 8th among private universities, and 3rd among private universities in the category of “Educational Enhancement,” reflecting its strong reputation for educational quality.
KUIS plans to establish a new business-oriented faculty in April 2028 that integrates advanced language proficiency with practical business knowledge. The educational philosophy centers on organically connecting:

The faculty aims to develop students’ critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and dialogue skills required in real-world business environments, and to nurture professionals who can thrive globally.
To strengthen the educational and research structure of this new faculty, KUIS invites applications for a full-time faculty position as outlined below.

Teaching Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach up to 6 classes per week from the following courses (tentative titles):
・Digital Marketing
・Social Media Marketing
・E-Commerce
・Marketing Research
・Brand Management
・Consumer Behavior
Required Courses:
・Business Project (PBL-based core course)
・Research Seminar
Teaching assignments and academic rank are subject to approval through the qualification review conducted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
Other Responsibilities:
・Participation in faculty meetings
・Engagement in PBL programs in collaboration with companies
・Participation in university-wide events and activities
