* Background of the recruitment and description of the project
The laboratory of Analytical Biotechnology, Department of Bioinformatic Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science, The University of Osaka is studying design-principles of biosystems by in silico analysis, characterization of biosystems by obtaining quantitative data, and their application to bioproduction and biotechnology. These research fields include (1) analyses of metabolism by information engineering, (2) measurement of biosystems by using mass spectrometry, and (3) developments of new information technologies and manufacturing technologies for biotechnology.
The laboratory is seeking an academic staff member who has a flexible thinking and can contribute to developing and harnessing the strength of the laboratory’s research.
The successful applicant will be responsible for not only conducting research but also teaching liberal arts, and other subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
