Offer Description

Activities:
• Housing, breeding, and reproduction of Xiphophorus fish;
• Set up and maintenance of experimental and breeding laboratory spaces;
• DNA extraction, RNA extraction, and preparation of molecular libraries;
• Morphometrics;
• Behavioral analyses;
• Preparation of administrative documents and expense reports as requested by the “AMORIO” (FIS2) research project;
• Management of laboratory expenses and coordination of orders and supplies required for both laboratory and field activities;
• Liaison with University and/or Deparmtment offices responsible for addressing any issues related to IT and laboratory equipment;
• One possible annual trip to Mexico for sampling and field experiments, if deemed necessary - at the sole discretion of the research project leader - for the purposes of carrying out the project.
