Offer Description

The research activity concerns the execution of Direct Numerical Simulations (DNS) of stratified turbulent flows containing dispersed solid phases, as well as the in-depth analysis and interpretation of the results obtained. The simulation activities must be conducted using high-performance scientific computing systems, with particular reference to the use of advanced architectures and GPU accelerators, in order to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the computational processing

Eligibility criteria

up to 60 points or the relevance and significance of qualifications, publications (max 5) and scientific and professional curriculum vitae - up to 40 points for the interview - Requirement: Good knowledge of the Italian language; Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent qualification

The candidate must possess proven experience in performing Direct Numerical Simulations (DNS) of multiphase flows, in the development of codes on high-performance computing (HPC) architectures, and in the statistical analysis of turbulent flows; max 5 publications
