The project is part of a RESEARCH AGREEMENT FOR THE ACTIVITIES OF THE SUB-PROJECT Assisted
Evolution Technologies for Italian agri-food supply chains: Fundamental technologies for future TEA plants, between
the Council for Agricultural Research and Analysis of Agricultural Economics – Viticulture and Enology Research Centre
(CREA – VE) and the Department of Biotechnology (University of Verona). Its main objective is to understand the
molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of grapevine ripening and to define functional gene targets for future
gene editing approaches.

Eligibility criteria

a)Title of Phd, namely to be enrolled in the third year of doctoral studies, as long as the achievement of the qualification is planned within the six months following the date of publication of the announcement for application

b)Possession of a curriculum suitable for assisting in carrying out research activities;

c) Knowledge of the following foreign language: English.

d)Knowledge of the Italian language C1 (for strangers)

e)Other requirements: experience in the field of functional study of "non conventional" species as grapevine; involvement and participationto projects concerning the study of transcription factors and new approaches for the caraterization of their molecular mechanism; proved experience in the field of in vitro regeneration and applications of modern approaches of genetic improvement.
