Offer Description
The research project concerns the study and development of advanced management strategies for Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) systems based on electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles (FCEVs), with the goal of optimizing the interaction between vehicles and the electrical grid.
In particular, the research will focus on models and algorithms for the intelligent control of bidirectional energy flows, the integration of vehicles into microgrids and smart grids, and the provision of ancillary services such as frequency regulation, power balancing, and peak load management.
Another area of interest concerns the assessment of the technical and economic performance of such systems in residential and distributed scenarios, also in synergy with renewable energy sources and storage systems.
