1 Research Assignment through a Call for Expressions of Interest for activities related to the PRIN‑2022ZZAZKW Project:
“Non-verbal markers of emotional intersubjectivity: a comparative approach to empathy”
(DUS.PN024.015, CUP B53C24007880006).

Activities include:

• administering cognitive tests to preschool children (12–36 months) and tufted capuchin monkeys using touchscreen-based social stimuli,
• data processing and analysis,
• producing project reports and scientific publications.

Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

Master’s Degree obtained no more than six years ago in: Biology (LM‑6), Psychology (LM‑51), or Natural Sciences (LM‑60); or equivalent Specialist Degrees (6/S, 58/S, 68/S).

Specific Requirements

• Experience in the study of social behaviour and communication in socially complex species, including humans.
• Experience in behavioural sampling methods.
• Experience in planning, conducting, and documenting data collection.
• Experience with behavioural data recording software (preferably BORIS).
• Experience in statistical analysis of behavioural data.
• Ability to work in teams and interdisciplinary environments.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of the Italian language (for foreign applicants)
