We seek candidates at the assistant professor rank with expertise in cancer immunology, cell therapy and bioinformatics. Candidates at other ranks or with expertise in translational science relevant to cancer will also be considered. All new faculty will be provided a startup package and have full access to all research and clinical facilities at Cancer Institute. These include access to well-annotated clinical data and bio-specimens (>1,70,000 patients treated per year), GMP facility for manufacturing vaccine and cell therapies, next generation sequencing, flow cytometry, pathology, mass spectrometry, microbiome, microscopy and animal facilities. Collaborative opportunities with a large group of academic clinicians specializing is a wide-range of cancer types.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent degree and have an outstanding record of scientific ability
demonstrated by a strong publication record. Experience in cancer immunology research is preferable.
The position will be initially based at the Cancer Institute (WIA) premises in Guindy/Adyar, Chennai, with possible relocation to Gummidipundi upon completion of facilities.
The expected starting salary for this position will be 15,00,000 Indian rupees per year (gross). Remuneration will be modified based in experience, education and research track-record.
