Applications are invited for appointments as Post-doctoral Fellow (several posts) in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 534276), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with a strong background and experience in Synthetic Metal-Organic Chemistry, Photophysics, Luminescence and Light-Emitting Materials. Expertise in chemical synthesis, photophysical characterization and measurements, and functional materials characterization are preferred. Good organizational skills, the ability to work independently, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation are essential. The appointee will work on the research area of “Luminescent and Optoelectronic Materials” under the supervision of Professor V.W.W. Yam. Enquiries about the post should be sent to Professor V.W.W.
