Offer Description

Development of deterministic sources of non-classical light and of multi-qubit gates using intra-cavity Rydberg superatoms for photonic quantum computing.

The post-doctoral researcher will develop new protocols for quantum engineering of light using cold interacting atoms, and implement them on an existing experimental setup, modified if necessary. With the assistance of two permanent researchers, he will participate in the daily supervision of PhD students in the lab.

This position is supported by the national strategy for quantum technologies through the collaborative project OQuLuS. The work will be done in the Institute of Physics of Collège de France in Paris, in the Quantum Photonics team of JEIP. Il will benefit from scientific exchanges within the project OQuLuS, and from the scientific environment of the team, in particular through discussions with teams of Laboratoire Kastler Brossel.
