Assistant Professor

one (1) employee for the scientific and teaching position of assistant professor in the scientific field of Social Sciences, scientific field of Economics, for an indefinite period of time in full-time.

All candidates of the competition (points 1 and 2. They must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Labour Act (Official Gazette No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23).

Candidates of the competition under point 1. In addition to the criteria prescribed by Article 39, paragraphs 1 and 3 and Article 119, paragraph 6 of the Act. of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119/22) are obliged to meet the criteria prescribed by Article 123, paragraphs 1 and 2 and Article 200 of the Act. of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 50, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega, the Ordinance on the Conditions for Election to the Scientific Title (Official Gazette 28/17, 72/19, 21/21 and 111/22), the Decision of the Rectors' Council on the Necessary Conditions for the Evaluation of Teaching and Scientific-Professional Activities in the Procedure of Election to Scientific-Teaching Titles (Official Gazette No. 122/17), the Decision of the Rectors' Council on the Form and Manner of Conducting the Introductory Lecture for Election to Scientific-Teaching Titles,  artistic-teaching and teaching titles ("Official Gazette" 129/05), Articles 9 and 36. of the Ordinance on the Implementation of the Procedure for Scientific-Teaching, Artistic-Teaching, Teaching, Associate and Professional Positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (consolidated text) and additional criteria in accordance with the Decision on Additional Criteria for Selection to Scientific-Teaching, Teaching and Associate Positions at the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega. The procedure for the selection of the position under point 1 of the Tender is prescribed by the provision of Art. 40 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119/22)

Candidates of the competition under point 1. submit an application to the Tender with the obligatory attached documentation according to the prescribed application form Form No. 1. - Application for the competition for the election to the scientific-teaching position. Form 1. is published on the Faculty's website. 

Applications with evidence of meeting the requirements of the competition shall be submitted within 30 (thirty) days from the date of publication of the  competition in the Official Gazette in electronic form to the address natjecaji@ftrr.hr , with the indication "Application for the competition under point ­­­1".

All candidates who are foreign citizens are required to submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (level C2). Candidates who hold a foreign higher education qualification are required to submit proof of the completed procedure for the recognition of their higher education qualification.

In accordance with Article 13. of the Gender Equality Act (Official Gazette No. 82/08 and 69/17), persons of both sexes can apply for the competition under equal conditions.

Only persons who submit a timely and complete application and meet the formal requirements of the competition will be considered candidates registered for the competition. A complete application is considered to be an application that contains all the information and attachments listed in this competition and that is signed by the candidate who submitted the application. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered. 

Candidates who, on the basis of special regulations - the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, 156/23), Article 48. of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette 84/21), Article 48f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian Invalids of War (Official Gazette 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, 98/19), Article 9. Pursuant to Article 157 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20), they are obliged to invoke this right in the application and to submit all the evidence prescribed by special regulations for the exercise of this right. These candidates have an advantage in employment over other candidates, only under equal conditions. 

For candidates who invoke the right of priority in employment in the application for the competition according to the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette 121/17, 98/19, 84/21), Article 48 of the Employment Act. of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette 84/21), the list of evidence required for the exercise of this right is available at the link on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843 ;

Candidates who invoke the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 9 of the Employment Act. Pursuant to Article 157 of the Act on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20), they are obliged to refer to this right in the application and attach all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability. All candidates will be notified of the results of the competition no later than 15 days after its completion via the Faculty's website: https://ftrr.hr/

The Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega reserves the right to notify all registered candidates via e-mail. 

By applying for the competition, the candidate gives consent for all his/her personal data contained in the competition documentation to be collected and processed for the purpose of conducting the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). 

Candidates are required to enclose a completed and signed Consent form for the collection and processing of personal data for the purpose of the competition, published with the competition on the website of the Faculty of Tourism and Rural Development in Požega.
