The Ministry of Social Services is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented candidate who is dependable and strives to work in an environment driven by dignity and respect. The successful candidate will exhibit professionalism and embrace diversity and equality.

As a member of a team of professionals, this position provides direct support to the Director, Service Delivery Centre. This position provides direction related to information flow and service delivery so that the office runs efficiently and effectively. 

We are seeking an organized and thorough individual. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills when responding to inquiries from the public, clients, staff, professionals and community agencies. This position is responsible for efficient workflow through the Centre Region (Saskatoon) office to the Central Office, the Deputy Minister's Office and the Minister's Office. This position will prepare accurate letters, memos and correspondence within tight deadlines. The selected candidate will also process incoming and outgoing mail and maintain accurate complex electronic and manual filing systems according to ministry policy and office protocol.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of office administrative procedures including filing systems, calendar management, and financial processing. You will be a self-starter with a high capacity to multi-task and prioritize needs. You will have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, acts, agreements, policies and procedures for the Child and Family Services program. Your knowledge, experience and demonstrated abilities will be key to your success in this position.
