Offer Description

This position is dedicated to activities within the project “Matrix Support for Innovative Entrepreneurship in the Municipality of Rio Claro/SP,” aimed at generating knowledge for the application of the Matrix Support in the field of scientific and technological entrepreneurship. The goal for the post-doctoral recipient will be to produce applied knowledge to the redesign and enhancement of public policy instruments in the municipality of Rio Claro (São Paulo state, Brazil). The postdoc project comprises: analysis of the objectives and instruments of existing public policies; mapping of national and international experiences; designing of implementation instruments toward collaboration mechanisms and networks aligned with the Matrix Support framework. A qualitative methodological perspective will be adopted, guided by an interpretive approach. Secondary data from official documentary sources will be used, and the analysis will be carried out considering the theoretical literature on policy design, typologies and analytical models.

For this position, documented research and/or practical experience in the field of Policy Design is required. Candidates must be available to conduct activities at the São Paulo state universities involved in the proposal: São Paulo State University (UNESP) - Rio Claro campus, Federal University of São Carlos UFSCar (São Carlos campus), University of São Paulo's School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH–USP), and State University of Campinas (UNICAMP).

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
