Offer Description
The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct research in molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics, integrated with clinical and experimental studies on genetic factors in Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and comorbidities. Selection based on Lattes CV and letter of intent sent to ivytrin@usp.br from 01/02 to 01/31/2026. Result on 02/06/2026.
Activities: planning and executing molecular biology strategies; processing and analyzing DNA sequencing data (quality control, alignment, variant identification/annotation); applying bioinformatics for genetic association and genotype-phenotype correlation studies; functional variant interpretation; support for complementary analyses (pharmacology, biomarkers); statistical analysis and database management; preparing reports, articles, and dissemination; participation in student supervision.
This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
