. Our supportive and collaborative People and Culture Operations Team have two openings for well-organised and driven People Operations Officers. These positions are offered as 1 full time position and one 0.8 FTE. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable team player seeking flexibility.

In this position, you will focus on processing casual employment transactions and maintaining relevant employment documentation in the HRIS systems with accuracy. Your responsibilities will include administering various HR activities and providing excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and update records in the HRIS, ensuring compliance with processes and guidelines while providing accurate information for general inquiries.
  • Support users of HR applications, promote self-service usage, and ensure data integrity through timely audit report actions.
  • Prepare employment contracts in accordance with policy and regulations, administer timesheets and payroll, and coordinate pre-employment checks.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Home Affairs regulations, including visa administration and VEVO checks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and undertake related responsibilities as needed.  
Who we are looking for/Selection Criteria:
  • Qualification and Experience: Completion of a diploma or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Administrative Skills: Proven experience in providing general administrative support, capable of handling a variety of tasks.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with general direction.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication skills, able to liaise professionally with a diverse range of individuals, demonstrating cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks, organise time effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in a variety of applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.  
  • Role Requirements: 
  • For a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
