About the Role
The Manager, School Operations is accountable for providing high-level strategic and operational business planning, advice and support to the Dean and School Executive and ensuring School effort is focused and aligned to strategic objectives. This position leads and manages efficient and effective School support services that enable the delivery of activities and the achievement of goals, and provides authoritative financial, governance and resourcing advice.
This position is a member of the School Executive teams and works collaboratively across the College and University.
To be successful for this position, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in the management and delivery of services within a complex organisation, preferably in the tertiary education sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in the areas of change management and project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience in the development, interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Proven budget and financial management, planning and business development skills.
- Demonstrated high level problem solving and analytical ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, direct and influence others, including a proven capacity to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external groups.
