About You

The Manager, Learning Solutions is responsible for driving the success of domestic and international education delivery projects, with a strong focus on designing effective learning solutions and sustainable delivery models across the APAC region. The role works closely with Executive and senior leaders to lead the development of high-quality education solutions, overseeing project implementation and monitoring in collaboration with delivery clusters, learning and teaching, student services and global engagement teams. A key responsibility is ensuring a seamless transition from the project bid phase to implementation, aligned with broader College and Portfolio priorities.

You will lead the development, co-design and implementation of innovative training initiatives alongside College and Portfolio teams. This includes conducting needs analysis to identify stakeholders and learner requirements, and collaborating with internal and external partners to co-create fit-for-purpose education solutions that leverage CoVE's product suite and learning and teaching expertise. You will also lead learning model development by repurposing existing products to enable scalable and flexible delivery across online, hybrid and workplace-based contexts.

The role is responsible for designing end-to-end solution architecture, including delivery pathways, resources and system requirements, while assessing feasibility, operational readiness, financial modelling and delivery risks. You will establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including KPIs and reporting mechanisms, to track progress, timelines, budget and impact for Executive stakeholders. Continuous innovation and improvement are central to the role, applying agile and best-practice approaches to refine and future-proof education solutions.

To be successful in this position, you'll have / you'll have as a minimum:

  • Experience in Education or Training Solution Design -experience designing effective education or workforce training solutions through adapting existing products, frameworks and delivery models (e.g. accredited courses, micro credentials, short courses) to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Strategic use of existing capabilities - ability to leverage and adapt existing training products, services and capabilities to meet client or industry needs
  • Stakeholder Engagement - ability to work independently to identify stakeholder needs, communicate with influence, and facilitate effective co-design with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of learning design principles - familiarity with contemporary instructional design and digital pedagogy to ensure learning effectiveness, particularly for adult and workplace learners.
  • Project planning and implementation readiness - ability to develop clear implementation plans, including timelines, resources and risk mitigation strategies, to enable transition from concept to delivery.
  • Commercial acumen - foundation level understanding of financial, regulatory and operational factors in education settings, with the ability to assess feasibility, cost-effectiveness and delivery impact of proposed solutions.
  • Leading with influence -capability to work with cross functional project teams to deliver commercially viable projects in adult education settings.
  • Communication and reporting skills - excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present solution proposals, produce clear documentation and report to executive stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience in a tertiary environment is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications and extensive experience in leading projects is mandatory, particularly in the APAC region or international context.
  • A qualification/certification in Training and Assessment or similar with minimum holding accredited unit TAEDES511 (Design and develop strategies for training and assessment)
  • Project Management Methodology will be highly regarded (e.g. Grad Cert/Grad Diploma of PM, Prince2, Agile)
