Minimum Education and Experience:


The ideal candidate(s) will possess a PhD degree (post-doctoral associate/fellow) or Master degree (PhD student) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering with a background in multiple research areas emphasizing FE analysis using commercial software packages including LS-DYNA (highly desirable), Abaqus, etc. Experience in LS-DYNA is highly desirable, and actual crash testing per MASH 2016 at the testing facility, or similar, is suggested. The preferred candidate(s) will possess a willingness to work on research projects in a fast-paced multi-institutional role different from theoretical research projects, excellent documentation and communication skills, and a strong team-oriented attitude with the ability to establish work priorities.
