This is a £1000 cash bursary paid in your first year of study to students from our local school and college network who have engaged with our outreach programme, specifically our University Toolkit workshops, before joining the university.
This scholarship is designed to support progression to higher education and recognises the benefits of engaging with preparation activities and university support teams before your course begins.
Eligibility Criteria
You will need to meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive the Uni Toolkit Scholarship:
- You are studying at one of our target schools and colleges .
- You are studying level 3 qualifications (A level, BTEC Level 3, T Levels, Access, IB or any other Level 3 qualifications) which hold UCAS points and will receive your final results in the Summer 2025.
- You applied to the university by the UCAS ‘equal consideration’ deadline – 29 January 2025.
- You received an offer to study a full-time undergraduate course (including extended programmes) at our Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (excluding the Medway School of Pharmacy), which commences in September 2025.
- You will be a new full-time undergraduate in 2025, paying the maximum home tuition fee of £9,535
- You have firmly accepted your offer of study at the university by your UCAS reply date in June/July 2025 – your deadline will depend on when you received all of your offers. You don’t need to have made your decision before you apply for this scholarship.
- You have participated in one of our outreach workshops in addition to a campus visit (open day or applicant day). Activities do not need to have been completed before the UCAS ‘equal consideration’ deadline to be eligible.
How to Apply
Applications for 2025/26 closed Friday 27th May 2025.
2026/27 dates and eligibility TBC

Note: As a current student in school or college, if you are interested in and eligible for the Uni Toolkit Scholarship, please inform your school or college teacher/careers advisor, so they can support you with the application process.
