The Global Separation Technology Youth Innovation Award emphasizes the promotion of fundamental principles and technologies in separation processes. It supports outstanding young scholars across interdisciplinary fields, including chemical engineering, energy, environmental science, materials science, and information technology, to drive innovation in separation technologies. This award will be presented every two years, with a total of five recipients each time. This guide is specially formulated to help applicants understand the application conditions, procedures and precautions.

2. Eligibility & Focus Areas
- Applicants: Early-career researchers, engineers, or innovators under 35 years old affiliated with universities, research institutions, or technology enterprises worldwide.
- Key Research Topics:
- Fundamental principles and mechanisms for novel separation processes
- Intrinsic principle and driving force in liquid-liquid mixing
- AI-driven novel separation materials and technologies
- Innovative technologies and principles to replace traditional distillation/rectification processes
3. Application Process
Submission of all required materials via the official website by August 31, 2025, 24:00 (Beijing Time). Application materials will undergo expert panel review. Results will be announced via email to the shortlisted candidates; those not selected will not be notified separately. The final results will be published on the official website.

5. Award Details
After review by the academic committee of the "Global Separation Technology Youth Innovation Award", 5 winners this year will be determined, and each will receive a cash prize of 100,000 RMB (tax included) and a certificate of award.
6. Notes
- Organizers: The award is jointly initiated by Xinjiang Key Laboratory of Separation Materials and Technologies, Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry-Chinese Academy of Sciences, and CAS-REALNM Separation Technology Co., Ltd. (Wuxi).

The applicant shall be responsible for the authenticity and legality of the materials submitted. Plagiarism, fraud or any form of deception is strictly prohibited.
