An Award to assist registered nurses working in primary care, who are New Zealand Citizens and Permanent Residents, with the compulsory fees to undertake a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences and/or a Master of Nursing in the School of Nursing.

The Award was established in 2023 and is funded by the Goodfellow Foundation to commemorate the late Dr William Bruce Goodfellow, an alumnus of Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
The intention of the Award is to encourage and support registered nurses working in primary care who are enrolling at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland to undertake and complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences, specialising in Advanced Nursing, and/or a Master of Nursing programme.
