Role Description

We are seeking highly motivated applicants for funded Graduate Research Assistant (2-Master and 1-PhD positions) in the Flow Assurance Lab at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

The successful candidate will work on research related to multiphase flow simulation in hydrogen production systems. They are expected to contribute to model development, analyze flow behavior, and evaluate the impact of operating conditions on hydrogen production. Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and transport phenomena, along with motivation for research and scientific writing, is essential.



Qualifications

1) Must hold Bachelor’s degree for Master positions (CGPA > 3.3)

2) Master degree required for PhD vacancy

3) First and Master degree must be in Mechanical Engineering

4) Experience with CFD simulations and Fluid Dynamics is a plus.

5) Publications are preferred for PhD position

6) Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply

7) Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

8) Applicant must meet the University's requirements for Graduate study


WHAT WE OFFER

1) Tunition Fee offset for 3-years for PhD extendable to 42 months, and 2-years for Master degree

2) Living Allowance of RM 2300 for PhD and RM 1800 per month for Master degree

3) Access to High end computing machines
