Professor Lourdes Sola, a senior professor and co-coordinator of the Research Group on International Political Economy, Varieties of Democracy and Decarbonization at IEA-USP, is currently seeking a postdoctoral fellow. This fellowship is directly associated with the FAPESP Thematic Project titled "Brazil as an emerging market democracy variety: between the democratic agenda and the globalization agenda."


The fellowship offers a monthly stipend of R$ 12,000.00 for an initial period of 12 months, with the possibility of renewal for an additional 4 months. A 10% technical reserve is also provided. The position requires 40 hours per week of exclusive dedication and will be on-site at the USP, Butantã Campus, in São Paulo.


Prospective candidates must hold a PhD in Political Science, International Relations, or Economics, obtained within the last seven years, with a doctoral thesis relevant to the project's scope. Essential requirements include demonstrated research experience in Political Economy, proficiency in survey analysis and design, familiarity with both Brazilian and international economies, and strong fluency in English (both reading and writing).


The selection process comprises two stages: document analysis followed by online interviews for shortlisted candidates.
