The Laboratory of Ecology and Hydrology, Instituto de Pesquisas Ambientais SP, announces the selection of a postdoctoral position in a Thematic Project.
General information: Postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded for 12 months (extendable for 12 months/or until the end of the term), with a monthly amount of R$12,000.00, with resources from the Technical Reserve.
Requirements/skills: Bachelor's degree and PhD in Forestry Engineering, Biology or Ecology; PhD less than 6 years ago, with a thesis in the project areas. Demonstrate (i) activities at universities abroad in the project specialties and oral-written communication in Portuguese or English, with the vacancy intended for Brazilians and foreigners residing abroad, (ii) experience wood anatomy, dendrochronology, tree-rings stable isotopes, radiocarbon, (iii) growth dynamics and climate change; (vi) tree-rings LA-ICP-MS, fluorescence and X-rays, including software.
