STEM Women in Computing Technologies Scholarship

This scholarship provides $5,000 per year for up to four years.



This scholarship provides $5,000 per year for up to four years.



To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • identify as a woman
  • be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • be commencing at RMIT in semester 1 2025 in one of these programs:
    • Bachelor of Computer Science (BP094)
    • Bachelor of Computer Science (Professional) (BP347)
    • Bachelor of Cyber Security (BP355)
    • Bachelor of Cyber Security (Professional) (BP356)
    • Bachelor of Data Science (BP340)
    • Bachelor of Data Science (Professional) (BP348)
    • Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional) (BP349)
    • Bachelor of Information Technology (BP162)
    • Bachelor of Software Engineering Professional (BP096)
  • be enrolling full-time in semester 1 and 2 for the duration of your studies
  • have completed Year 12 VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) in a Victorian secondary school in 2024
  • achieve an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 85 or higher (students undertaking a double degree program must achieve an ATAR of 90 or above) in 2024

This scholarship does not include students commencing in the Bachelor of Engineering or the double degree Bachelor of Engineering (Computer and Network Engineering) (Honours)/Bachelor of Computer Science (BH091) programs or the Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) (Honours) (BH120), please visit the STEM Women in Engineering Scholarship .
