Schulz Scholarship in German

The Schulz Scholarship in German will assist students of German undertaking a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Languages to take the course German in Germany or participate in a recognised German-Australian semester exchange program.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:

• Be Australian citizens, Australian Permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa; and
• Be undertaking a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Languages with a major in German
• Have completed at least 6 units of German 
• Be undertaking the course German in Germany or a recognised German-Australian semester exchange program

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:

• Academic merit (GPA)
• Answers to questions on the application form

Important Information:

• You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
• The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
• Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
• The successful applicant will be expected to submit a written report to the committee on activities undertaken with scholarship support and to participate in public events to promote German.
