We invite highly motivated candidates to apply for a PhD position in Seismology at James Cook University (JCU), one of Australia’s leading research institutions located in tropical North Queensland. Candidate Requirements

• A first-class Honours or Master's degree in Physics, Geophysics, Computational Physics, or a related discipline

• Strong quantitative and programming skills; experience with seismic data analysis or numerical modelling is highly desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
