The CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy Future Women in Electrical Engineering Scholarship provides:
- $5,000 per year, for up to three years (dependent upon academic performance)
- a 12-week paid work experience placement and/or a paid or unpaid Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity in your penultimate year
- participation in a mentoring program at CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy.
Note: The CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy Future Women in Electrical Engineering Scholarship is regarded as taxable income under taxation legislation as there is an opportunity to undertake paid work with the donor. We recommend that you obtain taxation advice from an accountant or the Australian Tax Office regarding this scholarship.

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
- be enrolled full-time for the duration of your studies in:
- your second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) (BH073)
- your second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) (Honours) (BH075), OR
- your third year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business (BH111)
- have a Grade Point Average (GPA) to date of 2.5 or higher
- be able to demonstrate high level communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- be available to participate in a 12-week paid work placement and/or a paid or unpaid Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity at CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy in your penultimate year
- not be committed to another employer (except casual/part-time work) for the duration of the scholarship
- be willing to participate in a mentoring program at CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy
- be available for an interview if shortlisted*.
