Job Purpose:
The Mathematics Department at the University of Scranton, which houses undergraduate majors in mathematics and mathematical sciences, invites applications for a one-year (twenty-one credit load) visiting position to begin August 2025.
Essential Duties:
Candidates should have a commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service in the undergraduate liberal arts environment. The candidate must also be enthusiastic about teaching and will be expected to teach mostly entry-level courses such as College Algebra.
Additional Skills Required:
Minimum Education Requirements:
Applicants should have, or complete during 2024-2025 academic year, a Ph.D. in mathematics.
