Position Summary:


Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Student Assistant to work in the Rehabilitation & Movement Science Department.
The Student Assistant will assist during communication sessions involving Speech-Language Pathology students and Spanish Portuguese-speaking adults in a community program. Responsibilities include providing consecutive interpretation and translating printed materials.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Maintaining records.
  • Organizing equipment and materials.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Understands and adheres to Rutgers' compliance standards as they appear in RBHS's Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Must have graduated from or currently enrolled in a Rutgers University program.

  • Standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing.
  • No special vision requirements.

Salary: $15.49 per hour
